Using WordPress and page builders like Elementor, anyone can easily create a website for themselves or their business. Furthermore, learning to use these tools to create websites is easy and requires no previous knowledge of programming or website design.
In a series of approximately ten-minute videos, you will see how the original version of this website was created from scratch using WordPress, the OceanWP theme, the Elementor page builder, and a few additional plug-ins. In addition, you will find articles, links, and other videos of interest to anyone developing or updating websites using WordPress and its many themes and plugins.

Use these steps to create a website
- First, get a domain name and hosting.
- Secondly, log in to your hosting account and install WordPress on the new site.
- Thirdly, install a WordPress theme and get plug-ins.
- Then, customize the theme settings.
- Create a home page.
- Additionally, create a header (and footer if needed).
- Use Elementor to add some content and style the home page.
- Next, use the home page to duplicate the look of the website and create other pages.
- Add a menu with links to other pages.
- Finally, publish the site!
- Continue to update/add content, pages, and menu items as needed.
